Our Electrical&Automation division continuously develops and improves the rolling-mill process control thanks to the know-how transfer and exchanges amongst different parts of the plant and process:
The electronic hardwares, which are using first-class components worldwide renown and available, are assembled and tested in our own laboratory, which is extended under a roofed area of more than 1500 sqm, before delivery. A great importance is given to Health and Safety during the design of the plant but most important during operations.
The monitoring of the hot rolling process is granted by advanced software solutions, able to supervise the whole plant and integrate data for quality reporting, failure prediction and maintenance prediction. Industry 4.0 concepts are applied to grant our customers full control of the plant’s parameters, with the goal to improve productivity and ease of production management.
The process control software is developed and continuously upgraded by our staff of engineers, who also take care of the commissioning and after sale services.
The smart use of different levels of rolling mill automation:

The service of automation for rolling mills is carried on by an independent company, fully controlled by NCO, which can be considered a 360° partner for the automation and the electric implementation of any rolling mill for steel long products.
We make also electric revamping and automation upgrading of existing mills, to increase production output and ameliorate safety conditions.
